The first edition of the SAVIA Festival will feature 7 teachers from North & South America, 30 hours of movement practice, nourishing vegetarian meals, and access to unspoiled nature in the mystical forests of Central Mexico.

SAVIA was intentionally curated through cross-border collaboration. Natalie Koski Stillwater & Tania Renteria are dancers and organizers with deep Mexican roots, and are based in San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico respectively.
The festival takes place at Artboretum, a 25 acre private natural protection area, with a river and waterfalls, designed with the performing arts and environmental sustainability at its core. Chalmita is a remote forest town located 2.5 hours from CDMX and 30 minutes from Malinalco, a Pueblo Magico known for its rich cultural and spiritual traditions.
